“Do you know what’s the most common complaint from our customers about our honey?

“The most common question asked is: “I bought a jar of honey from Atharvedic Organics and now it has solidified; is this honey pure?”

The answer is pure honey does crystallize ! Most often, only pure honey crystallizes! However, if your jar of honey doesn’t crystallize, it isn’t necessarily adulterated. It could be due to hotter weather or because you bought a jar of Acacia honey.

For instance, a jar of mustard honey will crystallize within weeks, while Acacia honey could take years. There are numerous other floral sources like Clover, Jamun, and Eucalyptus, each with varying crystallization probabilities.

Don’t take our word for it—Google “crystallization of honey,” and you’ll find many articles explaining why honey crystallizes and that it’s a natural process.”

Crystallization is experienced in many forms. The whole jar can solidify, the bottom can crystallize, resulting in a creamy or hard texture. However, no matter how the honey has crystallized, it is never concluded that the honey is impure.

The next time one of your honey jars crystallizes, it can be placed in a bowl of warm water to be liquefied and consumed without any worries about its purity. When shopping from us, it is suggested not to worry about the purity of the product.
